Want to learn bioinformatics but don't know where to start?
Registration opens Monday 3 August for the Third INFOGUT Training School: Bioinformatics 101 for colon model experiments.
IMDEA Nutrition, Madrid | 28–30 September 2026 | in person
Three days of hands-on training for complete beginners: the command line, R, statistics for colon model experiments, GitHub, workflows and FAIR data management, plus what microbiome and metabolome data actually look like.
If code and the command line make you nervous, this school is built for you. No prior experience needed. Open to all, with early career researchers prioritised and technical staff particularly welcome. 30 places.
Travel and daily allowance are covered by the INFOGUT COST Action for participants from COST countries.
Please note that you are not eligible to attend if you were selected to attend in-person the 2nd INFOGUT training school in Clermont-ferrand.
Registration closes 28 August. Details and how to apply
